Manchester United are reportedly nearing an agreement with Dortmund over an £80m deal for Chelsea-linked forward Jadon Sancho.
The England international was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford last summer, however, the 20-times English champions could now come to an agreement with Dortmund over a transfer fee beating the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool for the services of former Man City man.
The rumours surrounding Sancho’s future has again gathered pace in recent weeks, with the Red Devils making strong ground in their pursuit of Dortmund winger.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Friday that the 21-year-old ‘had never been closer’ to joining Man Utd, having already settled on personal terms with the club.
According to The Mirror, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have almost agreed on a deal for the Englishman worth an initial £75m, plus an additional £5m in add-ons.
The report suggests that Sancho is expected to earn in the region of £250,000 per week if he agrees to join Man Utd.
The attacker has managed to found back of the net 50 times and provided 64 assists in 137 games for BVB since joining the German giants from Man City in 2017.
An announcement from either team is not expected to arrive until the end of the EURO 2020 tournament.
