Tomas Soucek is the subject of interest from Man United over a potential move in the summer transfer window. The Red Devils are keeping a close eye on the West Ham United midfielder and have been left impressed by his displays this campaign.

Czech international joined the Hammers from Slavia Prague last winter. Tomas initially arrived at the London Stadium on a loan deal till the end of the last campaign but was quickly snapped up on a permanent transfer in a £15m deal after making a quick impression.

Soucek has started every single PL match for Hammers this campaign and is the club’s top scorer in the tournament with 8 goals to his name. Tomas’ exploits have invariably been noticed by one of the biggest teams in Europe, with Man United one of many PL teams who have been closely monitoring him this term, as per the report.

To that end, the PL giants have been heavily linked with a move for Christoph Baumgartner, with Tomas now emerging as a viable target as well. The report claims that Man United are keeping tabs on Soucek and have been hugely impressed by the impact he has created since joining the Hammers last year.

Red Devils are pondering a potential summer swoop and it will be interesting to see if they do end up making a move for Tomas when the transfer window reopens. A footballer of his calibre is sure to be a top-notch addition and his goals from midfield could possibly be crucial if he does end up making the switch to Man United.
