Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says Robert Lewandowski’s future is “open”, with Bayern Munich yet to open talks with the Manchester United target.
Lewandowski is one of Europe’s elite goalscorers and has unsurprisingly attracted interest from some of the continent’s biggest clubs over the past few seasons as he continues scoring goals for fun.
The 32-year-old striker netted 41 league goals in the 2020/21 season for Bayern to break Gerd Muller’s Bundesliga record, which had stood for 49 years, but there has been alot of speculation regarding the players future.
It is no secret that United will be looking to add a striker to that attack in the summer, and despite his age, Lewandowski is a man that continues to score goals on a weekly basis.
Now, amid all the speculation, Romano has opened up and claimed that Lewandowski wants to sort out his future in the near future, meaning a contract extension or a summer exit from the German giants.
