Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has reportedly held talks with Manchester United that his client should get £500k per week deal in order to stay at Old Trafford.
The World Cup-winning midfielder now has less than 18 months left on his current deal at Old Trafford, and he has been heavily linked with a switch back to Serie A defending champions, Juventus following Raiola’s comments on his future last year.
While Pogba has now established himself as an vital player for the Red Devils, his future still has been up in the air, and Man Utd will supposedly have to cough up the big bucks to keep him around.
According to the Daily Star, France international midfielder is demanding a weekly wage of £500k – close to £800k with image rights – from the Red Devils or any potential suitors, including PSG and Real Madrid.
However, the report claimed that Ligue 1 defending champions, PSG would likely be the only club financially capable of forking out such a mammoth salary, so French midfielder may elect to run down his existing United deal if his demands are not accepted by the 20-times English champions.
Pogba has managed to found back of the net five times and set up six more across all tournaments this campaign, and he has claimed two assists in Man Utd’s last two Premier League games.
