AC Milan stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma has reportedly emerged as a surprise transfer target for Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United.
Despite his status as first-choice goalkeeper at San Siro, Donnarumma has just over four months left on his current deal with the Serie A heavyweights.
Although the 21-year-old is allegedly willing to pen fresh terms, PSG and Chelsea are believed to be monitoring the situation.
According to Fichajes, the Red Devils may join the race to secure the services of Donnarumma at a time when they are contemplating the sale of their long-serving keeper, David de Gea.
The long-time number one has remained ahead of Dean Henderson in the pecking order this campaign, a decision from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer which has divided opinion among the teams fanbase.
However, eyeing an opportunity to sign a ready-made replacement on a free transfer, the report suggests that the Red Devils may be willing to sell De Gea during the summer transfer window.
Chelsea meantime, despite signing Edourad Mendy recently still looking a world-class goalkeeper in order to strengthen their team and AC Milan star seems to be a perfect addition to either Blues or Man Utd.
