Manchester United are allegedly considering a swoop for Real Madrid’s Serbian striker Luka Jovic during this transfer window.
The 23-year-old attacker netted 36 times in 75 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt before sealing the move to Real Madrid, but the highly-rated forward has found it difficult to make his mark at the La Liga club.
Jovic has netted just twice in 32 outings for Los Blancos across all competitions, and the player could again find it difficult to secure starts next season due to the France international Karim Benzema’s presence at the Santiago Bernabeu outfit.
According to a recent report from Tribal Football, Manchester United could yet make a swoop for a new striker before this summer’s transfer market closes for business, and Luka has been identified as a target.
The report adds that Red Devils’ Norwegian manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ‘rates’ Jovic, and his availability in the current window makes him an attractive proposition for the Premier League giants.
The former Red Star Belgrade ace, who spent the second half of last term back on loan at Deutsche Bank Park, still has four years left to run on his current deal at Real Madrid.
