Manchester United and Arsenal are both keen on signing Bayern Munich star Corentin Tolisso after the Bundesliga giants halved their asking price, according to the latest reports.
The two Premier League clubs are both in the market for a new player in the midfield this summer, with Mikel Arteta poised to bolster the spine of his side and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ending his pursuit of right-back in favour of a new enforcer.
Now both sides could be about to face off to try and sign Tolisso, with Bild reporting that Die Roten are willing to sell the 27-year-old star for just €10 million (£8.5 million).
The France international only has 12 months remaining on his contract with the German outfit and the Bavarians are keen to cash in.
They had thought about renewing the injury-plagued midfielder’s deal, but are now looking to fringe players to raise funds to bring in new signings and that has alerted both Red Devils and Gunners to a potential bargain.
Julian Nagelsmann wants to add RB Leipzig captain Marcel Sabitzer to his squad, which would push Corentin further down the pecking order, so Bayern Munich are happy to let the ex-Lyon man leave.
