Manchester United Football Club return to action tomorrow, with the Red Devils looking to continue the fine form they displayed before play was halted.
However, plenty has changed over the last three months. The term will be finished off behind closed doors in a season that won’t end for a little while yet. Don’t forget that some contracts expire at June’s end, which throws an even bigger spanner into the works.
Some contracts have been extended, though the good business-sense of clubs will mean that several players will be made free agents before the season ends.
For United, young Dion McGhee is amongst those, according to the Manchester Evening News. Although the retained list won’t be officially published until next week, the United starlet has taken to Twitter to confirm he’s leaving the Reds, while sending a heartfelt message to the fans and the club:

It’s a real shame because I genuinely thought McGhee had an excellent shot at making it at United. I don’t doubt that he’ll show his class elsewhere, perhaps another Premier League side.
Anyway, as McGhee says, once a red, always a red. He’ll carry these memories with him forever, no doubt his family are all super-proud and now it’s about the next chapter for him.
