Manchester United have reportedly renewed their interest in sceuring services of Saul Niguez.
The 26-year-old Spaniard was rumoured with a move to Old Trafford all throughout the last summer transfer window, however, a move has never materlised and Saul stayed at the Wanda Metropolitano.
However, the Spain international is yet to found back of the net or setting up his teammates in the 2020/21 season and was restricted to a 30-minute run-out as a substitute in the recent derby loss to Real Madrid.
With rumours mounting over Paul Pogba’s future, Todofichajes reports that the Red Devils have rekindled their interest in Saul, however, agreeing a fee with Atletico may be a problem.
The report suggests that the Red Devils are keen on to seal the deal close to €70m (£63m) fee, however, Saul has a €150m (£135.1m) release clause in his Atletico contract, and the Spanish giants refusing to lower their asking price.
The Spaniard has managed to found back of the net 41 times and set up 18 more goals for Atletico in all competitions, however,his game time in the 2020-21 season has been limited following to a muscle injury.
Recent reports also claimed that Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has been in private talks with Juventus to seal his clients return to Allianz Stadium.
