Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly hoping to fend off any potential interest in their superstar, Harry Kane as they have slapped £150m price tag on his head.
The 27-year-old English forward has been at the North London club since the age of 11, however, is yet to win a major trophy and may consider departing from the Jose Mourinho’s side in the nearby future Man Utd thought to be keeping close tabs on his situation.
According to the Daily Mail, the Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is confident he can keep hold of English forward and would demand a huge nine-figure fee before he even considers to sell him especialy to the direct rivals.
Manchester City and Manchester United have previously been linked with the England international and are both understood to be in the market for a new number nine this summer.
Any potential sale of English centre-forward for such a fee would make him the third most expensive footballer of all time behind Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
Kane, who is contracted to Tottenham until 2024 on a deal worth around £200,000 a week, has managed to found back of the net over 200 times for the club since his debut in 2012, including 13 goals this season.
