Manchester United have already qualified for the next season’s Champions League and they can finish the season with a trophy by winning the Europa League.

The Red Devils will face Villareal in the final tomorrow. The Yellow Submarine are coached by Unai Emery, who has won the competition on three occasions and played four finals. Man Utd won it back in 2017 under Mourinho and were knocked out of the semis last season.

As far as the team news is concerned, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could make no fewer than ten changes to the squad that started vs Wolverhampton Wanderers in the final Premier League fixture.

In the goal, David De Gea would likely return in place of Dean Henderson. In front of the Spanish shot stopper, the likes of Wan-Bissaka and Shaw should start in the fullback positions.

Harry Maguire has been selected in the squad for the final but the skipper is still a doubt and in all fairness, he must not get the nod to start after spending a considerable amount of time out injured. Therefore, Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof would likely start in the central defense.

In the center of the park, Scott McTominay could partner French international and Man Utd’s record signing Paul Pogba.

In the attack, Greenwood and Rashford should return to start in the wide attacking positions. On the other hand, Bruno Fernandes must start in the central attacking midfield role behind lone striker Edinson Cavani.

Man Utd’s strongest possible 4-2-3-1 XI vs Villareal: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Lindelof, Shaw; McTominay, Pogba; Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford; Cavani
