Transfer News: Manchester United express interest in former Porto captain rated at £30m


Manchester United have reportedly added Ruben Neves to their list of possible transfer targets.

The Wolves midfielder has been a crucial asset to his side during their time in the Premier League but, now, a move to the 20-time English champions could be on the cards come the summer.

The Red Devils have several names in mind as the club plan towards the summer transfer market.

Erling Haaland is their top target, with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to sign the Borussia Dortmund star amid the struggles of Mason Greenwood, Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial this term.

Interest in Jadon Sancho remains, too, in spite of missing out on the England international forward back in October.

And, at centre-back, the Old Trafford side are eyeing the likes of Jules Kounde and Raphael Varane as they seek a long-term partner for Harry Maguire.

Now, however, 90min state the Red Devils have added Ruben to their list of potential transfer targets this summer.

It’s said that they believe he could be the perfect partner in crime for West Ham talisman Declan Rice, who is another player in their sights.

Wolves, for their part, are allegedly willing to part ways with their player – setting an asking price of £30m for the player.
