As per the latest reports going on in the media, Man United are not going to meet the asking price of Jadon Sancho and are now serious about signing Gareth Bale from Real Madrid.

According to an exclusive story covered by The Sun, the Red Devils will not meet Dortmund’s huge asking price of £108million to lure the England international and Solskjaer is not against bringing in a proven PL player like Bale.

The renowned British source have mentioned that Man United are ready to offer a deal to sign the £33.8million-a-year player (£650,000-a-week). It is stated that the PL giants want to lure the 31-year-old, whose current contract will expire in 2022, on a one year loan and with the option to extend for a further year.

In that setup, the Welsh international would take a pay cut and both the Old Trafford club and Real Madrid would contribute to his wages.

Ideally, the Los Blancos would like to get rid of him on permanent basis this summer and The Sun claim that the Spanish champions want £18.5million from his sale.

Bale moved to the Bernabeu in 2013 and in his first season, he scored the decisive goals to win the Copa Del Rey vs Barcelona and the UEFA Champions League vs Atletico Madrid.

He also scored the decisive goal in 2018 in the CL final against Liverpool and was awarded with the Man of the Match prize. So, we know that the former Spurs star is a top quality player.

However, his injury record (Transfermarkt) is not good and last season, he did not play regular first team football under the management of Zinedine Zidane. Do you think Gareth Bale would be good short term fix for Man United?
