As per 90min (h/t Express), Manchester United are eyeing a potential move for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski in the summer to help address their current goalscoring issues in the team.
Lewandowski is one of the hottest strikers in the game and arguably one of the most in-form forwards over the past couple of seasons. It needs no further proof than him recently winning FIFA’s The Best Men’s Player award.
After spending more than a decade in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, the striker may be looking for a new challenge elsewhere next season. This will only be accelerated if Bayern sign Dortmund star Erling Haaland in the summer as a direct competition to Lewandowski.

However, any chance of signing the Poland international will not come easy for United as several other European clubs such as Real Madrid, Chelsea, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the forward.
The Manchester club’s struggles in front of goal this season are no secret, with the team drawing several games after not being able to hold on to their leads. This was made worse last weekend when we failed to score past relegation-threatened Watford as we fell to a 0-0 draw at home.
It is claimed that the side has now held talks with Lewandowski’s representatives and requested to be kept informed of any potential developments on the striker’s future at Bayern. If the Red Devils manage to grab hold of him in the summer, then we could have a lethal finisher in our ranks.
Lewandowski may be 33 years old, but that has not stopped him from scoring goals in Germany. In fact, the striker seems to have gotten better after 30, ageing like a fine wine and continuing to top the charts for Bayern Munich.
