Juventus are allegedly ‘evaluating’ a possible move for Manchester United’s Paul Pogba ‘very carefully’, with the Old Lady aware of the money that will be required to bring the player back to Turin.

His contract with the Red Devils is due to run out at the end of June, meaning that, as it stands, he’ll be available for nothing this summer.

However, the Frenchman will command an eye-watering wage packet at his next club, with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain said to be keeping tabs on his situation.

I Bianconeri appear to have emerged as the frontrunners to re-sign the FIFA World Cup winner, who won two Coppa Italia crowns and four Serie A titles during his time in Italy.

However, according to Calciomercato, the Serie A giants will take their time before making a final decision whether to place a hefty contract on the table.

The report adds that Aaron Ramsey’s failed transfer was ‘a wake-up call’ for Juventus who are wary of making Paul their highest-paid player next term.

Pogba has made 23 appearances for his side during the 2021-22 campaign, netting once and providing nine assists, and the star was a second-half substitute in their 1-0 loss to Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.
