Juventus are allegedly gearing up for a summer swoop for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Entourage Mino Raiola revealed a couple of weeks ago that the France international is looking to quit Old Trafford this year.

No bids were forthcoming in the January market, but the Red Devils are bracing themselves for offers at the end of the campaign.

Italian media outlet Calciomercato claims that the Old Lady still dream of re-signing Paul, who spent four years at the reigning Serie A champions before heading back to United in 2016.

Bianconeri are understood to be monitoring developments in the hope that the 27-year-old doesn’t backtrack by extending his existing deal at United before the summer.

Should they be priced out of a move for the World Cup winner, it is suggested that they’ll instead move for Lyon’s midfield maestro Houssem Aouar.

In other news, Manchester United are reportedly chasing signature of Aston Villa ace Carney Chukwuemeka.

The Times reports the Red Devils are among a group of top outfits keeping track of the 17-year-old midfielder.

At Aston Villa, there is little doubt that Carney will be the next big thing out of the country, following in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham.

The Englishman is 17 and plays as a playmaker. He has been training with Villa’s senior team squad and only a positive coronavirus test denied him the chance to make his debut in the FA Cup in January.

The youngster reportedly turned down Manchester City previously, believing the Villa handed him a better path to first-team football.
