Manchester United are in search of a top quality striker who would eventually replace veterans like Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani.
As per reports going on in the media, the Red Devils are interested in luring Nigerian international and Napoli center forward, Victor Osimhen.
Few days back, Rai Sport journalist, Ciro Venerato, claimed (via Tutto Napoli) that Man Utd have approached the African star to hire his services from the the Naples based side, who value him at around 100 million euros (£83million).
More recently, another Italian journalist in the form of Alfredo Pedulla has claimed that a monster offer could arrive from Man Utd to lure Osimhen in the summer. He stated (via FC Inter 1908)
“It would be an attempt linked to a possible pharaonic proposal next summer for Victor Osimhen. The proposal could be that of Manchester United“
At the moment, the Gli Azzurri are on top of the Serie A table and Osimhem has been in top form under the management of Spalletti.
So far, in 22 appearances in all competitions, the 23-year-old has directly contributed in 15 goals(11 goals and 4 assists).
For the senior national side, he has netted 10 goals in 14 appearances but unfortunately, he was unable to take part in the African Cup of Nations due to a cheekbone fracture. Nigeria were knocked out of the competition in the Round of 16.
