Atletico Madrid are allegedly well-positioned to land Marseille midfielder and Manchester United target Boubacar Kamara this summer.
According to a fresh report from Goal, Los Rojiblancos are now in driving seat for the star, with the Spanish giants’ management confident that they’ll win the hunt for his signature.
The report claims that Boubakar is keen to work under manager Diego Simeone, who is set to stay at Wanda Metropolitano in spite of recent claims that the Argentine could be on his way out of the La Liga club.
In addition to the Red Devils, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in Kamara’s services.
He has again been a vital player for Jorge Sampaoli’s side during the 2021-22 campaign, making 36 appearances in all competitions, contributing one goal in the process.
