Manchester United and Arsenal have allegedly joined the race to land Bayer Leverkusen’s French wide man Moussa Diaby.
The 22-year-old star has been in sparkling form for the German side this season, with 16 goals and nine assists across all competitions.
Earlier in March, Sportsmail reported Newcastle United are interested in him and it now appears they’ll face competition from two of England’s giants.
That is according to German journalist Patrick Berger, who Tweeted:
‘Manchester United, FC Arsenal and Newcastle are interested in Moussa Diaby. The French winger from Bayer Leverkusen (16 goals/9 assists this season) has no release clause.
‘Price tag: €60m. As a potential successor Bayer monitoring Carles Perez from AS Roma.
Both Red Devils and Gunners will be interested in strengthening this summer – with Mikel Arteta and co. on course to get back into Europe next term.
Ralf Rangnick’s side, on the other hand, will be keen to reinforce their squad following yet another poor season which has seen the side go without a trophy, once again.
The Magpies are also understood to be ready to offer around £50 million for the France international but Die Werkself are reputed to value their prized asset closer to £75 million.
