Los Blancos are reportedly preparing an €80m offer to prise Paul Pogba away from the Red Devils, but several issues have been touted with such a move. France international’s future has been a constant talking point for months with speculation rife over where he could go if he were to leave Man United this summer.
It’s been a frustrating season for Pogba to having been limited to only eight games due to injury, and so it stays to be seen if he is set to move on or if he will stay an important part of Red Devils plans moving forward.
The La Liga giants are preparing to test the resolve of Man United with an €80m offer for Paul, and while that is a substantial amount of money, it’s suggested that there are three stand-out issues which could ultimately scupper a contract.
It’s noted that the offer is far less than the Red Devils asking price which is said to be in excess of €100m, while the Norwegian coach may well be reluctant to greenlight an exit as he’s keen on pairing the 27-year-old midfielder with Bruno Fernandes in his squad and looking to build with what he has.
Further, Paul’s €13m-a-year wages could also be a major obstacle for many interesting sides, and so it stays to be seen if the pieces fall into place for a move to materialise this summer. The French superstar is a world-class player when in form, but time will tell if an offer convinces the Red Devils to sell and move on.
