If reports in the media are anything to go by then Manchester United are serious about signing Spanish international and AC Milan playmaker, Brahim Diaz.
According to Spanish source, Nacional, the Red Devils have held talks and offered the player a starring role in the squad if he opts to move to Old Trafford.
Real Madrid sold the youngster to the Rossoneri but they have a clause to re-sign him. The dilemma is that the player mainly warmed the bench at the Bernabeu.
He does not want to return to the Los Blancos only to warm the bench again and therefore, he wants Carlo Ancelotti to guarantee a starting role for him or else, he will have no problems in negotiating with Man Utd.
It is stated that Milan would ask for a fee of 55 million euros (£47.2million) for their prized asset and paying such an amount should not really be a problem for the 20-time English champions.
In fact, the report suggests Man Utd are convinced that splashing £47.2million on Diaz would be worth.
The 23-year-old playmaker, who mainly plays in the central attacking midfield position, directly contributed in 8 goals in all competitions for AC Milan last term and was a key member of the Scudetto winning squad.
As far as the current season is concerned, so far, in 7 league starts, the La Roja attacker has scored 4 goals and provided an assist under Stefan Pioli.
Diaz made his senior international debut back in 2021 and found the net against Lithuania. However, since then, he has not made a single appearances for Spain.
Have your say – Should Man Utd offer £47.2million to sign Brahim Diaz?
