Spanish media outlet Defensa Central features a story on the transfer race for Yusuf Demir.

They claim there are a couple of sides who’ve set their sights on the Rapid Vienna sensation and could soon go for his signing.

One of these clubs is Real Madrid, who have the 17-year-old midfielder on their agenda. The other team, who seem to have a stronger interest in the player, are Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United.

Defensa Central says the Old Trafford club are the most attentive club, and are already in negotiations with Demir’s entourage. However, it’s stated there are no official offers from Manchester United thus far.

It’s said that the Die Grun-Weissen management are looking to sell the youngster for at least €10 million as they know he will be one of the most promising players of the year.

The report adds that Demir has many proposals but has not chosen any of them yet. Los Blancos are said to be waiting for the first moves from other interested outfits before they get in the competition.

In spite of his young age, Demir started featuring for Dietmar Kuhbauer’s side last season and already has 23 appearances for them.

Elsewhere, Manchester United’s Timothy Fosu-Mensah has reportedly agreed a three-year deal with German outfit Bayer Leverkusen.

The 23-year-old defender has struggled to break into the first-team and is now considered surplus to requirements at United.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Timothy arrived in Germany this week and will undergo a medical after quarantining ahead of sealing a move believed to be worth around £1.8 million.
