Manchester United might end up failing to sign Jadon Sancho and they are looking at other options. One of the options is Senegalese star Ismaila Sarr.
According to The Telegraph, the Red Devils have inquired about luring the African attacker, who is heavily linked with a move away from Watford this summer.
The renowned British source claim that ideally, Man Utd would like to lure a winger on loan for a season as their interest in Sancho will not end.
However, the Hornets have made it clear that they would only agree a permanent deal to sell Sarr and therefore, the Old Trafford outfit would have to invest heavily to seal the signing of the 22-year-old star.
The former Rennes player had an excellent last season despite the fact that Watford got relegated. He was the Man of the Match against Manchester United (December 2019) and champions Liverpool (February 2020)
In all competitions, he started 23 games for the Vicarage Road outfit and directly contributed (Transfermarkt) in 12 goals (6 goals and 6 assists).
The Championship side signed Sarr last year and the player has a long term contract until 2024, so, it will be fair to say that he is not going to leave the club for cheap.
As per The Mail, the 22-capped international is rated at around £45million by the Yellow Army. Should Man Utd meet the asking price to get his signing done?
