Manchester United have not adequately strengthened their midfield department since the summer transfer window of 2018 when Fred was bought.

If reports in the media are anything to go by then Man Utd are one of the clubs interested in hiring the services of Eduardo Camavinga.

As per The Athletic, not many can afford the signing of the Ligue 1 midfieder but Man Utd have the financial power to hire his services.

The renowned outlet have claimed that the Old Trafford outfit would benefit from luring a high energy play breaker and he would definitely be an upgrade on Matic and Fred.

The detailed report has explained that while in possession, the 18-year-old boy is very good at ball retention, link up play and also driving and dribbling. On the other hand, he is a brilliant tackler, who is great at disrupting the attacks of the opposition.

Camavinga’s current contract with Rennes is going to expire next year and reports have indicated that he would cost around £50million (The Daily Express).

The teenage midfielder has already made his debut for France under the guidance of Didier Deschamps and scored in his second game for the country.

The Red Devils do need to sign a specialist defensive midfielder. Serbian international, Nemanja Matic, used to be world class for Chelsea but for Man Utd, he has never been able to perform consistently. The ex Benfica man is past his best, he will turn 33 in August and has mostly warmed the bench this term.

Eduardo Camavinga could be a top replacement should Man Utd spend £50million to get his signing done.
