Manchester United Football Club are now all-but certainly battling to be named as ‘best of the rest’. Let’s face it, our title race is run.

Next up is a game against Crystal Palace, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer no doubt plotting revenge following a dismal opening day defeat against The Eagles.

Credit where it’s due, Roy Hodgson has his side playing some decent stuff and Palace are always difficult to beat. Tomorrow night’s game at Selhurst Park will be no different.

In regards to team news, I’d be surprised if we see Edinson Cavani make his return, while Donny van de Beek should once again be fit enough to make the bench. Anyway, let’s get right into the predicted United line-up for this one…

Check out our predicted Man Utd XI vs Crystal Palace here:

David de Gea will keep his place after he kept a clean sheet at Stamford Bridge this past weekend. That said, I’d personally opt for Dean Henderson…

Luke Shaw plays at left-back in this one, though he’ll likely have some sort of FA charge weighing on his mind. Aaron Wan-Bissaka plays at right-back, as per usual. Harry Maguire starts whenever fit, with Eric Bailly coming into the team in Victor Lindelof’s place.

Scott McTominay looked half-fit on Sunday, so I’d suspect he’ll be rested for this one with Nemanja Matic starting. Bruno Fernandes starts, as does Fred in an unchanged midfield.

I’d also be surprised if any changes are made to the front three. Mason Greenwood did decent last time out, while Marcus Rashford and Daniel James both deserve to be involved again here.

The game-changers on the bench are Anthony Martial, the aforementioned Van de Beek and maybe, just maybe, Paul Pogba…
