Manchester United have officially signed ALex Telles from Porto in a deal worth £27 million.
United have now done alot of transfer business this summer and have left it until the very last minute to get the defence and attack all sorted out, but United fans can now welcome the signing of Alex Telles.
Telles signed for Porto from Galatasaray in 2016 and went on to win two Portuguese league titles and the Portuguese Cup in nearly 200 appearances for the club and he has become the second signing for United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
“To join a club with the prestige of Manchester United is a huge honour,” said Telles. “You have to work hard to get to this moment in your career and now I am coming to this club, I can promise that I will give everything in my heart to be a success here.
“I won many trophies at FC Porto and I want to continue that at United. The manager has a clear plan and direction for this team and I can’t wait to pull on the famous shirt.”
Telles is regarded as one of the best attacking left-backs in the game and United fans will love how he likes to play the game.
They wont get to see the man play for a good few weeks, but Telles is a real classy players and certainly a player that will bring a bit more quality to that left-back area, which has now been a problem for the club for many seasons.
