United have once again been linked with every possible player over the last few weeks as Ole Gunnar seeks to bring in the type of players he needs to get the club playing his brand of football.
He has taken over a Manchester side that is lacking in star quality, meaning that HE NEEDS to spend some serious money to get the club back inside the top six, or top four spots.
And that has led to speculation in the media that he is reportedly ready to splash the cash and try to acquire the services of Ndidi from Leicester, for a fee of around £45 million.
Ndidi has been brilliant for Leicester this season in the Premier League and is one of the main reasons why they are so defensively quality, and one of the big reasons why they are in the hunt for a top four spot and Champions League football next season.
However, it seems that he has no desire to leave the club this coming transfer window after opening up about his future at Leicester, In an interview with ESPN, the 23-year-old Nigeria international, who is contracted to the Foxes until 2024, said: “We are doing well, and I am enjoying myself here.
“I still have a contract with Leicester. I am learning and trying to improve myself every day and I am doing okay here so no need to go anywhere.”
Look, despite their troubles in the Premier League and this massive transitional phase that the club are going through, United are still one of the biggest clubs in the game and would be a step up from Leicester.
Leicester may be having a good season, but that will not be a regular thing every season, but if Solskjaer can get things right, and get the players he wants, then he could be challenging for titles with the Gunners on a regular basis.
So if Ndidi doesnt want to join his revolution, many other targets will.
