Real Madrid have allegedly been offered the chance to bring in Anthony Martial from Manchester United this summer’s transfer window.
The France international’s 2020-21 seasons was curtailed by a knee problem he sustained on international duty, and the player managed to register four goals and six assists from 22 Premier League matches beforehand.
However, with the likes of Erling Braut Haaland, Harry Kane and Jadon Sancho all thought to be on the Red Devils’ transfer radar, Martial’s future at Old Trafford is far from secure.
According to the Transfer Window Podcast, the 20-time English champions’ attacking overhaul could see Anthony’s time at the club come to an end, and his entourage has offered Los Blancos the chance to sign the 25-year-old.
The report says that any deal would initially be on loan with an option to buy, and Anthony himself has dreamt of a transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu outfit since he plied his trade at the Ligue 1 club Monaco as a teenager.
Martial has netted 78 goals and set up 50 more in 258 matches during his six years at Manchester United, winning the FA Cup, EFL Cup and UEFA Europa League in that time.
