Manchester United have been linked with Harry Kane for some time and the latest reports suggest that they are now leading the race to secure his signing.

In the summer transfer window, Man City offered a mammoth fee worth £100million to sign the England international but Spurs rejected the bid and were looking for £150million (The Guardian).

According to Bild, Man City are now focusing on signing Dortmund star, Erling Haaland, and Man United are in pole position to lure Harry Kane.

The renowned German news source have stated that former Spurs boss, Mauricio Pochettino, could end up joining the Red Devils in the summer and may move to re-unite with Kane, who excelled big time under the Argentine manager.

As far as the current campaign is concerned, so far, in 36 appearances in all competitions, the Three Lions captain has netted 18 goals and provided 4 assists.

Kane’s current contract with the north London club will expire in the summer of 2024 and he earns a salary of around £200,000 a week
