Nice are allegedly still keen on signing current West Ham United player Jesse Lingard from his parent club Manchester United at the end of the campaign.

The 28-year-old playmaker has been in impressive form since signing for the Hammers on loan late in the January transfer window, netting nine goals as well as registering four assists.

The technically gifted Englishman’s form has helped the East London outfit mount a push for a UEFA Champions League spot.

Calciomercato claims that French side Nice are still very interested in signing the attacking midfielder, who is out of contract at Old Trafford at the end of next season.

It was claimed last week that Jesse will look to push for a permanent exit from the Manchester-based heavyweights this summer, but Nice will have to compete with David Moyes’ side and several other clubs for his signature.

Considering his form since January, Manchester United may still demand a high sum for Lingard, who has played 210 games in total for his boyhood club, scoring 33 goals.

Meantime, Manchester United are allegedly preparing for offers for on-loan defender Diogo Dalot.

The 22-year-old Portuguese has spent the 2020-21 season on loan with AC Milan, making 30 appearances across all competitions, contributing two goals and three assists in the process.
