Juventus are ready to offload Aaron Ramsey this summer, with Red Devils among the clubs set to sign him. The Old Lady have been struck by the covid-19 crisis and are looking to cut their wage bill this summer.

Wales international earns a ridiculous £400,000-a-week in the Bianconeri despite not becoming a fundamental part of Maurizio Sarri’s team during his first campaign at the club. Aaron left the Emirates on a free transfer at the end of the last campaign and has just amassed nine Serie A starts.

Given his vast wages, Bianconeri bosses are willing to show him the door this summer, with two English teams already made aware of his availability. Red Devils would undoubtedly be interested in signing him, with the Norwegian manager an admirer of the playmaker.

However, his wages may prove a stumbling block to him moving on. Ramsey would either need to take a considerable cut to move to Man United, or a loan move would be required, with Bianconeri still paying a significant portion of his salary. Former Wales boss Chris Coleman believes Ramsey would be a great fit in Man United.

‘He’s at his best when he’s under a bit of pressure, when he’s playing against the best clubs and when he’s playing in the big games.’ Coleman said.

‘When you play for a club like Man United the jersey is much heavier than when you are with a smaller club in the Premier League. If you play for a big club, you’ve got to handle that extra weight. He certainly has an appetite for that.’
