La Liga giants Real Madrid and Manchester United are reportedly preparing to trigger the £63m release clause of Dortmund forward Erling Braut Haaland.

Norwegian forward was on the radar of the Los Blancos and the Red Devils in the winter transfer window before sealing an £18m switch to the Westfalenstadion, where he has further strengthened his reputation with founding back of the net 12 times in 11 games.

Despite the 19-year-old being under current deal with German giants until the end of 2023-24, ESPN reports that Europe’s other elite teams remain interested in securing his services.

The report claims that the Norwegian forward could be available for a bargain transfer fee when the window reopens, this summer putting Man Utd and Real Madrid on red alert.

Haaland, who has previously worked with 20-times English champions head-coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Molde, boasts 40 goals in 33 games overall this season.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are allegedly reconsidering their interest in securing the services of Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish after he was allegedly involved in a car crash over the weekend.

The 24-year-old playmaker issued an apology on Monday after ignoring government advice to remain indoors following the coronavirus lockdown, instead of leaving to attend a party hosted by ex-teammate Ross McCormack.
