La Liga giants Barcelona will reportedly refuse to sell their midfielder, Philippe Coutinho, for anything less than €100m (£87.3m) in the summer.

The Brazil international midfielder has spent the 2019-20 campaign out on loan at German giants Bayern Munich, where he has managed to found back of the net nine times and created eight assists in 32 games across all competitions.

Bayern Munich are not interested in making that deal permanent, though, while the Catalan giants are keen to cut their losses on a player that cost them £145m back in 2018.

However, the La Liga giants are unwilling to drop their asking price too much, and Mundo Deportivo claims that they will not consider any bids less then £87.3m.

The Catalan club have not ruled out keeping Coutinho, although their preference is to sell given the financial impact that has been left after the coronavirus pandemic.

A return to the Premier League is considered the most likely with Manchester United and Chelsea thought to be the frontrunners to lure the Brazilian playmaker away from the Nou Camp, however, it won’t come cheap with both PL giants will be forced to break the bank this summer to get the deal done.
