Serie A giants, AC Milan have reportedly been offered the chance to secure service of Manchester United centre-back Eric Bailly ahead of the 2020/21 season.
The 26-year-old has only played 10 games for the Red Devils during the 2019-20 season, although he did not make his return from a long-term knee problem till February.
The Ivory Coast international is behind Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof in the pecking order at Old Trafford, though, and the 20-times English champions are believed to be keen to secure the services of another centre-back ahead of next season with top-class players like Kalidou Koulibaly and Jose Gimenez has been rumoured with a switch to Ole Gunnar Solskajer’s side.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan have been offered the chance to secure the services of the Bailly this summer, however, the Italian heavyweights are not expected to pursue a deal at this stage.
The ex-Espanyol starlet has made 38 games for the Red Devils during his first campaign at the club but has not featured on more than 18 times in any season since.
The Ivorian’s current contract with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side is set to expire in June 2022 and the Red Devils are believed to value him around £25m.
