The transfer saga surrounding the future of Jadon Sancho has dragged on for far too long but as per the latest reports, Man United have made important progress.

Last week, The Mail reported that the Red Devils wanted to agree fees of the intermediaries before making an official bid for the Dortmund star.

Now, they have achieved one of the objectives. According to The Guardian, the Old Trafford club have agreed agent fees but the major obstacle is still meeting the German side’s 120 million euros asking price.

Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth has also revealed that the 20-time English champions have made progress by reaching major agreements that were stopping them from making an official offer.

The renowned reporter stated:

“We understand that United remain very resolute and determined to not overpay for a player given the realities of the coronavirus pandemic, but given that this was the issue for the past two or three weeks that Manchester United weren’t making a bid because they needed to sort out agent fees and personal terms for Jadon Sancho, this appears to be some sort of a breakthrough.”

“It’s our understanding now that the agent fees and the personal terms are not going to be a problem anymore.”

As per renowned Italian journalist, Fabrzio Romano, the 20-year-old attacker is ‘buzzing’ to sign for Manchester United and the only remaining problem is between the two clubs, who have to reach a fee agreement for the deal to be sealed.

Sancho was in world class form for Dortmund last season, he scored 20 goals and provided 20 assists in all competitions, so it is not surprising that the Bundesliga side are demanding a huge fee to part ways with him.

However, as per Sky Sports, United believe that the price tag of £108million is not realistic keeping in view the ongoing pandemic and the fact that BvB only signed the player for a cheap fee of £7.2million.

In your opinion, how much should Man Utd pay to secure the signing of the England international?
