Manchester United have been linked with Antoine Griezmann in the past few years and once again, the Frenchman is in the focus.

Two years ago, the Les Bleus star rejected a move to Old Trafford in order to stay with Atletico Madrid (MEN). On the other hand, last year, he opted to join Barcelona.

The 29-year-old, who used to be brilliant for Atletico Madrid, had a torrid time at the Nou Camp last season and therefore, he has been linked with a move away from the club.

In July 2020, Mundo Deportivo claimed that the World Champion likes the Red Devils and Manchester City and both clubs have inquired about luring him.

As per the recent update (The Mail), Man Utd could move to finally sign Griezmann, who would not be able to play a starring role for Barca next season because Messi is staying with the club.

It is mentioned that Premier League champions Liverpool and north London side Arsenal might take an interest in signing the attacker as well.

At Old Trafford, Man Utd are looking to improve their attack and Griezmann has the quality and the experience to strengthen the Red Devils. The question is, is he past his best or just another player (like Dembele and Coutinho) who cannot seem to fit in the Barca XI?

Barcelona tried the former Rojiblancos star in several attacking positions. He played as a left winger, right winger, secondary striker and even as an out and out center forward. However, the Catalan club could not get the best out of him.

The £292,000-a-week star (Marca) was so average that in the last 20 league appearances, he scored just 3 goals and did not even provide a single assist.

We know that he was world class under Simeone for Atletico and has consistently performed well for France under Deschamps. In your view, should Man Utd move in to finally sign Antoine Griezmann?
