Sevilla have allegedly identified Feyenoord’s central defender Marcos Senesi as a potential replacement for Jules Kounde, with the Spanish side expecting to lose the centre-half during this summer’s transfer window.

Jules has been in impressive form for the UEFA Europa League winners this season, and Manchester United are said to have identified the French ace as their leading defensive target ahead of next campaign.

According to a recent report by La Razon, Sevilla have accepted that it’ll be difficult for them to retain the services of the 23-year-old this summer, with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid also said to be interested in the player.

The report claims that Julen Lopetegui’s team are already preparing for life after the ex-Bordeaux youngster and have identified Feyenoord’s Argentine star as the ideal replacement.

United, who are understood to be searching for a long-term defensive partner for the England international Harry Maguire, are reportedly prepared to spend £61 million on Kounde during this summer’s transfer market period.

The highly-rated youngster still has more than three years left to run on his current deal at Estadio Ramon.

Elsewhere, Manchester United have allegedly contacted the entourage of Bayern Munich defender David Alaba.

Alaba will leave Die Roten on a free transfer this summer, and a host of clubs have been credited with an interest in the all-around defender.

According to ESPN, Real Madrid are the frontrunners for the 28-year-old, with Zinedine Zidane’s team facing the possibility of having to replace club legend, Sergio Ramos.

United were said to be out of the running for the player, but the Red Devils have reportedly also been in touch with his agent Pini Zahavi to discuss a possible move to Old Trafford.
