Juventus could let Manchester United target Adrien Rabiot leave this summer after just one year at the club, according to reports.

Manchester United have been in the transfer headlines for weeks now as they are seemingly linked with every player that is in Europe and not happy at their respective club, and it seems that they are at it again.

They have been linked with a move for Philippe Coutinho in recent weeks, with all indications suggesting that he is keen on a move to the Premier League, but over the past few days there has been talk that the United may switch their attentions once the transfer window opens up, with Rabiot now on the list.

Rabiot, 25, joined Juventus on a free transfer after allowing his Paris Saint-Germain contract to expire in June 2019, but his move has not really worked out and the six-capped France international has completed just eight 90-minute Serie A fixtures this season.

He has remained a target of Manchester United, particularly now that they are seeking to build a side that is once again capable of challenging for all the major trophies.

Tuttmercatoweb claim that while the Frenchman’s “technical and physical” skills aren’t in question, his “attitude and desire” aren’t up to scratch for Juve bosses, and the Italians are ready to listen to offers for Rabiot.

Bonuses take the Frenchman’s contract to just shy of £200,000-a-week in Turin, which any potential suitor would have to match, and Juve chiefs would want a transfer fee of at least £26million for the 25-year-old.

It is a massive shock to see that Rabiot has not impressed over in Juventus, so for that £26 million that he is reportedly going for, it would be a bargain for the club.

He is a top player that United fans would like to see on a weekly basis, and a player that would improve this midfield, as we said, he would be a top-class signing from the club if they are able to beat off the likes of Arsenal for his services.
