Manchester United target Hirving Lozano is reportedly interested in securing a transfer away from Napoli during the next transfer market.

In spite of being tipped to impress after a switch from PSV Eindhoven last year, Lozano has contributed just three goals and one assist from 22 matches in Serie A and the UEFA Champions League.

Over the past six weeks, that has led to talks that Manchester United and Everton are contemplating whether to make an approach for the Mexico international, who still has four years remaining on his current contract.

According to Claro Sports, the 24-year-old star has already asked entourage Mino Raiola to find him a new club regarding the coming months.

The Naples-based outfit are unlikely to consider any offers below £37 million, the fee which they reportedly paid PSV less than 12 months ago.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are reportedly prepared to focus their attention on landing Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek rather than Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz.

Considering their form for their respective clubs this campaign, both players are expected to move to bigger clubs during the next transfer window.

With doubts emerging over the club’s pursuit of Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, it also appears that they may be reluctant to shell out in excess of £75 million for Havertz.

According to the Daily Star, club chiefs are willing to prioritise agreeing to terms for Van de Beek, aware that the Dutchman will cost considerably less at a time when the market has been hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
