James Rodriguez might not be Real Madrid’s greatest asset and Zinedine Zidane‘s prized possession but the Colombian is still a player who exudes quality.
Ever since James Rodriguez burst onto the scene at the 2014 World Cup he has been a stalwart figure in European football. Yes the Colombian has not hit the heights one would have expected after his break-out performances in Brazil, but he has been an elite player for both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Despite this, James Rodriguez’s time in Spain seems to be slowly coming to a halt. With Real Madrid bound to incur financial difficulties, just like every other club following the suspension of the football, the Galacticos will be desperate to cash in for James Rodriguez who has only featured sparsely for the club’s first team this season.
And according to reports, United, who are known to be looking at signing attacking midfield reinforcements, have made an offer for James Rodriguez.
El Chiringuito via SempreMilan has claimed that United are among three other clubs including AC Milan, Inter Milan and Benfica to have submitted a bid for the Colombian star.
The competition will no doubt be fierce for James Rodriguez, one thing is for certain, the Colombian could be a valuable addition in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s squad.
