Manchester United will allegedly allow defender Axel Tuanzebe to leave Old Trafford on loan for the 2021-22 campaign.

The 23-year-old star made 19 appearances for the Red Devils last campaign but just nine of those came in the English top-flight.

And he is behind the likes of Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly in the pecking order when it comes to the centre-half positions.

The 20-time English champions also continue to be mentioned with Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane, and the Frenchman’s potential arrival would push Axel further out of contention.

According to English journalist Jonathan Shrager, the star will be leaving the Theatre of Dreams on loan during this summer’s transfer market.

Jonathan, writing on his personal Twitter account, states that a number of PL and foreign clubs are keen on signing Tuanzebe on a short-term basis.

The Manchester United academy product started his club’s final two league matches of the 2020-21 season but was overlooked for a starting role against Villarreal in the UEFA Europa League final in spite of Maguire’s absence.

In other news, Manchester United have handed boost as Manchester City are not contemplating launching a move for Sergio Ramos this summer’s transfer window, according to a report.

The Red Devils target leaves Real Madrid with 101 goals from 671 games under his belt, and Sergio has won five La Liga titles and four UEFA Champions League crowns since making the switch from Sevilla back in 2005.
