Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Man United go head-to-head vs Burnley this weekend, with our predicted XI now in…

Manchester United Football Club look destined to finish in that second-place position in the Premier League. Credit to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, who seem to improve year-on-year.

It’s now all about our Europa League campaign. We simply need to win that trophy this term, particularly as we should be viewed as the best team left in the competition. There are still league games to play, though.

This weekend, we take on Burnley at Old Trafford. Although the league title is pretty much done and dusted, it’s always nice to pick up wins as it builds confidence. You’d like to think whichever team the gaffer sends out, we should have more than enough quality to get the job done.

With that in mind, let’s get right into the team news.

Check out our predicted Man United XI vs Burnley in full here:

Dean Henderson is now our undisputed number one and he was always going to start this game in between the sticks.

We’ve gone for Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back, purely because there’s no other serious options for The Spider. Luke Shaw is included on the left-flank following suspension. Harry Maguire also comes back from a ban to get the nod here, with Axel Tuanzebe completing the back four. The youngster definitely deserves a start, with this a good time to rest Victor Lindelof.

Scott McTominay is another player who comes back into it following a suspension, with Paul Pogba feeling fresh after only playing 45 minutes on Thursday. I’ve gone for Donny van de Beek in that attacking-midfield role, allowing Bruno Fernandes some well-earned rest.

Mason Greenwood leads the line, with Edinson Cavani dropping to the bench as Solskjaer won’t want to overwork him. Marcus Rashford playing is a risk but I think he’ll start, with Dan James completing the team.
