The Red Devils’ title tilt is done, though it’s always nice to get one over on the old enemy. It’s time for our predicted Man United XI vs Leeds.

Watching Leeds United flounder in the lower leagues for the best part of two decades was pretty fun, I can’t lie. However, getting to play them twice a year is far more entertaining.

Credit to Marcelo Bielsa and that squad. They play a high-intensity game and they’ve been super-fun to watch – particularly when they’re losing to us 6-2!

Repeating that feat at Elland Road isn’t going to be easy, though if they play as suicidal as they did in that game, we could have another memorable afternoon!

terms of players who are unavailable, it looks like only Phil Jones (who knows) and Anthony Martial (knee) are the only absentees. That leaves Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with a massive squad to choose from. No doubt having a full week off in between league games has helped, too.

Anyway, let’s get right into it…

Check out our predicted Man United XI vs Leeds in full:

Dean Henderson starts in between the sticks for his first taste of Leeds United away – in Manchester United colours at least…

Aaron Wan-Bissaka continues to be the only real option at right-back, so he’ll play. Luke Shaw, who is probably the best left-back in the country right now, obviously starts here. Harry Maguire captains the squad, with Vicor Lindelof completing the back four.

Scott McTominay has come on leaps and bounds this term, with his best game of the season coming against Sunday’s opponents. Why wouldn’t he start here? Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes speak for themselves. Both have been exceptional for us recently.

I’ve gone for Edinson Cavani to start as the main striker after making his impact off the bench last time out. Over his left shoulder, Marcus Rashford will be there as he’s probably feeling as fit as he has been in months. Mason Greenwood is in sublime form, so he’s also included from the off.
