Our penultimate Premier League game of the 2020/21 season is here. Ahead of that clash, take a look at our predicted Man Utd XI vs Fulham.

For Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Manchester United, this season has been one of progression. Sure, there is still plenty of work to do, though it’s pleasing to see the Red Devils trending upwards once again.

Against Fulham tomorrow, Old Trafford will play host to fans for the first time in fourteen months. Although I sadly won’t be one of them, I can’t wait to see some normality return to football in this country.

On the pitch, I’d imagine we’ll see a real mixture of regular first-teamers and squad players. After all, Solskjaer now has a responsibility to keep his players fit for the Europa League final – while also wanting to put on a show for the lucky 10,000 who are in attendance.

Anyway, enough waffling from me, let’s get right down to business in terms of team selection…

Predicted Man Utd XI vs Fulham in full here:

Dean Henderson does keep his place in between the sticks, despite a pretty big mistake against Liverpool.

I’ve gone for Brandon Williams at right-back, as at this point, nobody deserves some time off more than Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Luke Shaw will keep his place in the team over on the left-hand side of defence. Axel Tuanzebe looked sharp last time out so he should play here, with Victor Lindelof making up the back four.

Scott McTominay brings the energy and aggression to our midfield so he’ll start, as will Donny van de Beek who deserves another crack at the whip. Juan Mata adds the craft and guile from that #10 role.

Edinson Cavani leads the line, as the Old Trafford crowd finally gets to witness him live and in the flesh. Mason Greenwood starts as he looks to make a late surge to force his way into the England squad, with Paul Pogba making up the team.
