Manchester United are reportedly getting ready to go for Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele.

The Premier League will come to an end on 26th July, and the transfer window for the English clubs will open from the last of July onwards. So, the top clubs are planning their transfer policy according to that. The pandemic will cause a hamper in the funds of every club. According to Manchester United’s financial department, they are more incubated than most and that’s the reason they are capable of pulling big transfers in this crisis as well. However, according to The Athletic, the red devils will plan a net fund of £50million, so naturally, they must sell their few players as well to maintain the net fund.

As of now, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified right-wing as the topmost priority for them, and Borussia Dortmund’s talisman Jadon Sancho is the main target for them. The sensational youngster is linked heavily with Manchester United and a lot of trusted sources are claiming that the player also wants an Old Trafford move. But both clubs haven’t made any progress yet.

Borussia Dortmund is adamant that they will demand a hefty fee for the 20-year-old, somewhere near €100million (£80million) and that the deal must be done before 10th August. Although the transfer window will last almost up to October, so United can push for the deal even after that. Although, as per various reports, Manchester United are also keeping tabs on Barcelona man Ousmane Dembele as an alternative option.

Barcelona is also struggling with budget constraint and they would not mind letting go of the French international as the injury-prone winger hasn’t been their great servers lately. For the red devils, this deal would be far cheaper than Sancho. The asking price of Dortmund will be a reason to worry about any club post-pandemic situation and United will have to let go of several few players to trigger additional funds.
