Manchester United and Arsenal have made ‘the most significant enquiries’ for Italy and Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi, according to reports.
The Red Devils are in the market for a wide player, with Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho again at the top of their shortlist but it appears Domenico is an alternative option to Sancho for United.
Berardi starred for his country in their opening match of UEFA Euro 2020 on Friday, setting up the first goal in a 3-0 victory over Turkey.
The 26-year-old netted 17 goals and registered seven assists in 30 Serie A appearances last season.
And Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport reports there is interest from the Premier League, namely the Old Trafford outfit and Mikel Arteta’s side who are both claimed to have made enquiries.
Tottenham are also understood to be keen on Domenico following the appointment of Fabio Paratici as managing director of football.
The Italians would accept a fee of around £42.9 million (€50 million) for the player whose contract runs until 2024.
