Manchester United are allegedly eyeing a shock £17 million move for young Greek striker Christos Tzolis.

Sportime reports the 19-year-old PAOK star has caught the Red Devils’ attention after scoring 16 goals in 34 matches in this campaign.

He can play up front or on the flank and also netted 19 times in 23 outings for PAOK’S Under-19s last season.

He’s now attracting interest from across the continent, with the 20-time English champions leading the chase.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has shown he is a big fan of bringing through top youngsters, with the likes of Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford playing leading roles for the Red Devils.

Amad Diallo was a big-money signing from Atalanta last month and teens including Hannibal Mejbri have also been promoted to the first squad.

Tzolis would provide the Manchester-based heavyweights with another exciting option in the attack.

And Christos could even be a possible long-term replacement for Edinson Cavani. However, the Old Trafford side are not alone in their interest.

Borussia Dortmund are equally interested in Tzolis and also have a great track record with youth.

They turned Jadon Sancho into one of his country’s top internationals, with the winger also heavily linked with United.

And Die Burussen also managed to beat United to Jude Bellingham last summer – as well as the Norwegian sensation Erling Haaland a year ago.

Dutch side PSV Eindhoven are also keen on landing Tzolis, who has one goal in four games for the Greek national team.

PAOK are allegedly happy to sell him for £17 million this summer transfer market and it now remains to be seen where Christos ends up.
