Man Utd and Chelsea reportedly face stiff competition from fellow Premier League side Everton for Metz playmaker Pape Sarr.

The 18-year-old midfielder has found back of the net three times in 21 games during the 2020-21 season and has attracted interest from some top teams.

Everton have also been keeping tabs on Sarr and, according to the Daily Mail, they are now favourites to beat Chelsea and Man Utd to lure him away from the Metz.

However, given the growing interest in Senegal international, the report claims that Metz have upped their price tag to around £27m.

Sarr joined the Ligue 1 team from Generation Foot last September and is under deal with French outfits until 2025.

Meanwhile, Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly planning a close tabs on Brighton & Hove Albion wonderkid Andrew Moran, who is currently playing for the Seagulls’ U-18 side.

Moran moved to the South coast from Bray Wanderers earlier last summer, founding back of the net 11 times and providing as many assists to help his team to third in the U18s Southern Premier League.

The 17-year-old midfielder is believed to be close to breaking into Graham Potter’s first-team squad after strong interest from some of the Premier League’s top teams.

TEAMtalk claims that Man Utd and Chelsea have been keeping tabs on the Irishman for the last few months, with both teams are keen to claim strong academy setups.
