The Italian press and media are convinced that a few transfer markets ago, Paulo Dybala almost made the transfer to Manchester United.

A deal was said to have been agreed between the Premier League club and Juventus, with things breaking down when disagreements were thrown up over image rights.

Since then, whenever the attacker’s future is in question, links to the Old Trafford outfit will arise. That is again the case for Tuttosport, with the Turin outlet stating Manchester United ‘warm up’ for the Argentine’s signing.

They are not the only club in the picture, with Manchester City, along with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, also name-checked.

Like a couple of the others, the Red Devils aim for a summer deal, at a time when Paulo will only have a year left on his deal with Juventus.

With difficulties about finding a renewal, there is a possibility Bianconeri will be forced into selling for less than they’d have otherwise wanted.

There’s again a problem with Manchester United, as it’s reported Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would not build a team around the 27-year-old, but he would instead be just another player.

A possible swap deal with Paul Pogba is again mentioned, however, the France international is surely worth more than Dybala.
