Kylian Mbappe has reportedly told Paris Saint-Germain that he intends to leave the club at the end of the 2020/21 season.
The France international plans to move on next year “to further his career elsewhere”, according to The Times.
The news will alert Europe’s top clubs, with the 21-year-old apparently eyeing a move to the Premier League or La Liga.
Among the clubs that interest Mbappe are Liverpool and Manchester United, the report claims.
Mbappe played a key part in PSG’s run to the Champions League final last season, scoring five goals in the competition.
However, Thomas Tuchel’s side were beaten by Bayern Munich as their wait for European glory goes on.
The news will alert Liverpool, who have been linked with a move for Mbappe in the past.
And the PSG ace is a known fan of the reigning Premier League champions, praising Jurgen Klopp’s side in January.
“What Liverpool do in this moment is amazing,” he told BBC Sport. “They’re like a machine, they’ve found a rhythm and are like ‘we play again, we play again’.
“When you watch you think everything’s easy, but that’s not easy. The guys are focused, they play games every three days and they win, they win, they win.”
According to Transfermarkt, Mbappe is valued at £162 million.
